This exquisite Albert chain was made by William John Pellow of Chester in 1921. It features a T-bar at the bottom along with a wonderful rotating fob set with a deep orange Carnelian on one side and a green Jasper on the other.
Fobs were usually worn as a decorative accessory to go along with a pocket watch. The seal was used to stamp a person's signature or perhaps a sentimental message or image in sealing wax on important documents.
The chain is made up of fancy interchanging 9ct Gold links and fitted with two trigger clasps at the end. It’s in excellent condition and complete with Chester hallmarks and maker’s initials on the side of the fob.
We recommend you insure for £1,600. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
